Bee Swarm Removal in the Temecula Valley

A swarm is a cluster of honey bees resting in the open while scouts look for a permanent home. It usually moves on. It can also move in, and that is what you want to get ahead of.

Why call now
Swarms don't wait around.

Caught in the open, a swarm is the simplest job we do. Once the cluster moves into a wall, it is a bigger one.

Live removal
Save the bees when safe.

When it is safe to save them, the cluster is collected live and relocated.

Where they go
On to local apiaries.

The ones we collect live go on to local apiaries. That is the whole point of doing it live.

Local crew
Valley response.

Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, and the surrounding communities.

Live removal, not extermination.

Call today and we can often be out the same day.

Is this your job?

Is this a swarm, or something else?

You do not need the right name for what you are seeing. If it matches the signs below, you are in the right place.

A cluster hanging in the open on a branch, a fence post or an eave.

That is a swarm resting while its scouts pick a permanent home. Call while it is still out in the open.

It showed up recently and there is no wax comb to point at.

Swarms are new arrivals. Comb, or bees working a hole, means the colony has moved in, and that is a different job.

A cluster on a vehicle, a trailer or patio furniture.

Swarms rest wherever the queen lands. Same job, same call.

Straight answers on cost

What moves the price on a swarm job

No two swarm jobs are identical. Access, time, size and where it landed set the range.

4 cost factors

Height and access

How far up it is sitting, and what it takes to reach it safely from there.

How long it has been there

A cluster that has already started building comb is not a swarm job any more.

Size of the cluster

How much there is to collect and move in one trip, from a football to a beach ball.

Where it has settled

An open branch is not the same as a meter box, a wall cavity or a parked truck.

"I noticed bee activity by my roof line. Due to the fact that my dog is allergic to them, I immediately called Bee Removal Pros. Thankfully Chris prioritized my call and by the time he got here about an hour later, I had a swarm getting ready to take residence at my house. Thank you Chris for your prompt response and for taking care of them."

Questions

Questions about swarm removal

Got a swarm question these do not cover? Call and ask, advice is free.

Will the swarm leave on its own? +

Often, yes. A resting swarm is between homes and plenty of them move on within a day or two. The problem is the other outcome: the scouts find a wall, a soffit or a chimney nearby and the whole cluster moves in, which turns a simple collection into a structural job.

Is a swarm dangerous? +

A swarm with no comb and no brood to defend is usually calm, but it is still thousands of bees and nobody should be poking at it. Keep people and pets back, do not spray it and do not try to knock it down. Call and let someone in a bee suit deal with it.

What happens to the bees? +

They leave alive. Bee Removal Pros does live, humane removal rather than extermination, so a collected swarm is boxed with its queen and relocated instead of killed. It is the reason people call a bee company rather than a general exterminator.

How long does swarm removal take? +

Usually one to two hours on site. A reachable cluster comes down quickly, and height or an awkward spot adds time.

Can you remove a swarm from a car or a trailer? +

Yes. It is the same collection as one on a branch. Leave the vehicle where it is and call; driving off with a cluster on board is not worth the risk to you or the bees.
